During these past 2 weeks, I posted 122 videos from my trip in China. Thanks for watching! I have now returned back in Europe. Here are the numbers of videos that I posted from each conference:



Asus Padfone, Transformer Prime Infinity, Transformer Pad priced in Italy – Liliputing

Now Eee PC Italia reports that the tablet and smartphone will be available in Italy in May for 699 Euros, or about $910. The keyboard dock will set you back another 149 Euros, or about $194.



Motorola Lapdock Now Running Android 4.0 instead of Linux – Netbooknews


The Motorola Lapdock is an accessory for Motorola smartphones like Atrix, it is a netbook like device that allows you to have a more robust experience by providing a desktop version of Firefox and a customized Linux operating system called Webtop.

L‘Asus PadFone est un ovni, un nouveau concept au carrefour du smartphone et de la tablette. Prévu en mai en France au prix de 699 euros, c’est un produit dans la lignée des tablettes Transformer.



ASUS Padfone Gets April Release Date | Netbooknews

The ASUS Padfone is a hybrid smartphone table that was first shown off in June and was officially launched last week at Mobile World Congress by Chairman Jonney Shih with his typical fan fare.  There was no word on pricing or availability but according to ASUS’ official Google+ account, the PadFone will be released in April (mentioned in the comments). There was no mention of pricing or any other details for that matter, but ASUS did say that we should hear more about that in a few weeks.



OLPC XO-1.75 hands-on [Video]

I got to play with the new Marvell Armada PXA618 powered One Laptop Per Child XO-1.75 laptop during the ARM Technology Conference. It seems to already be very stable and run very fast, although this is still a beta prototype, with beta software, OLPC, Red Hat, Marvell still have some work to do to optimize the software and complete the hardware so that it can be mass produced and shipped to children around the world starting early next year. Here in this video I walk around with it outdoors for a few minutes and show you some of how it looks like.

ASUS Prime Gets Official Landing Page

The very slim (at 8.3mm) Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime has a 10-inch display, and a mini-HDMI port for connection to a computer monitor or HDTV. It has a beautiful new design with a woven aluminum finish, and will run Google Android operating system. We assume it will initially come with honeycomb, but will upgradable to the latest Ice Cream Sandwich.



Laptops Vodafone brings ARM and Ubuntu together for South African Webbook

The country’s Vodafone affiliate, Vodacom, launched the Webbook — a 10-inch laptop running Ubuntu 11.10 on a Cortex A8-based Freescale i.MX51 processor (likely 800MHz). Inside is also 512MB of RAM and 4GB of flash storage, enough for basic browsing. The Webbook is available now, starting at R1,499 (about $190) for just the device, and climbing up to R1,899 (about $245) for the Webbook, modem and 100MB of monthly data for 12 months.
